"Automatic retooling" is considered useful for turning centers, 4A machines, etc.
A machine with this system is estimated to be profitable for the user when the overall machine running time is increased by 2 h per week. The standstill time for retooling or change of workpiece should be reduced to at least half of the required time (with an even higher improvement in the long run). Please estimate the percentage of your machines being down for retooling or change of workpiece during 4 hours or more per week .
